1980 CX-500 turn-sig blink

    Origina owner of 1980 CX-500. when the turn signal is activated let or right
    the signal blinks at twice normal speed or the left side and right side side
    alternate like an emergency vehicle, with the head light maybe going off and
    on too!

    What the devil is going on? Does the bike need an exorcist?

    I had a 79 (i think) CX500. At about 50K miles it started doing weird
    electrical things. Turned out that the wiring harness had
    broken/shorted wires
    right where it wrapped around the steering head. Too much stiff, not
    enough bend.
