Weekends here and tomorrows the day i plan to start fixing this. It looks
like a resounding 'carbs off' and upside-down on the workbench type
situation (cheers Champ). As most of you already know what a bastard job it
is to get the carb bank on/off a Zed, if anyone out there can suggest a last
chance possible solution that don't involve removing the carbs....please
please please shout up. Fuels getting through when taps set to prime
position as the bowl definetly fills. And there's a good chunky spark being
generated at the plug. But cylinder number 2 aint firing. Run the bike for 5
mins and that pipe is luke warm. It's just a bit of shit stuck in the carb
that's doing it. I'm sure of that now. If i don't hear different then i
guess im gonna have to bite that friggin bullet.

Warm the air hoses when your removing and replacing the carbs ... its
    makes life much easier

I reckon you're spot on there. It's stopped raining so time to do the deed.
As said, it's not getting the bastards off the bike, or doing the necessary
to the carbs thats the problem. Its getting the twats back on. Cheers for
the tip on the hot bucket of water. Also handy for getting some feeling back
into freezing fingers after two hours outside. I'm just hoping this has the
    desired affect.
