155mph motorcyclist sentence due

  1. Of course unless things have changed he'll now be disciplined by the
navy for appearing in a civilian court. Certainly what happened to a
mate of mine who was nicked on his way back to Portsmouth.

    Heh.

I'm the most courteous pedestrian I know. I always take the path of least
resistance - often being carried back in the direction I came by a wave of
pedestrians for several minutes - before spotting a gap and resuming my
original course. I'm always darting out of the way of people - I must look
demented - like I'm packed with Semtex don't want anyone setting it off
before I get to my destination.

Reasonable! Well fucking fair play. Good luck to the kid - he did very
well IMHO. It's the lack of consistancy that gets on my tits. I was
pulled for *much* less and got 3 Months ban, £200. Clean license when
    it came back though.

Must have been slammed a bit harder cos I was an unemployed pikey at
    the time.

Navy fly boy with connections I reckon.

From this it would seem that you do follow true Brownian motion, no
matter what direction, always take the path of least resistance.

Do you actually *get* to where you intended to go, or just find
somewhere interesting and decide that's your destination?

    :->

    P.S. You're mad!

Well if you filmed it from above, sped it up and watched it I bet it'd
seem like pure random motion (on Sorbys behalf anyway)

OTOH I suppose it is also like a marble rolling round a constantly
changing landscape (or a blob of liquid)

Darwenian? You think Sorbys trying to remove himself from the gene pool
    by wearing out shoe leather?

Actually it could be like a whole crowd of electrons, they all repel
each other, so if all the rest knew where they were supposed to be
going, Sorby would be the random one being repelled by the largest
local mass of others and heading for the empty spaces :)

Just in case you believed me - I was just kidding. I don't get swept along
by the prevailing throng - there's always something to grab onto until the
    next lull.
That would be fun - even if just for a few weeks - to be totally controlled
by fate - rather than allowing logic, social-conditioning or our
self-preservation instincts to affect our decision making.
Only occasionally, and even then only on here. I'm sanity personified in
    real life.

Awww, I'm disappointed now! Here was I thinking I'd discovered the one
true human completely at one with nature and all its random forces.
Hmm it would be. Pity in MK there isn't enough throng to drag you
along. I suppose I could just wander around following the best pair of
jugs I could see at any one time and see where that gets me.
    :)

They're utter cunts in that department.

I got pulled for racing another motorcycle on a busy public road at
112mph, add to that my mate didn't have any tax, and I got 3pts and a £60
    fixed penalty. Wanker copper.

You might think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
