1000 flippin' euros!

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Paul Carmichael, Oct 19, 2004.

  1. That's how much they want to insure my Blackbird 3rd party only, here in
    Spain.

Apparently, people keeep killing themselves on motorcycles. 3 deaths in
our village over 2 years. It's 200 euros to insure a moped, and they
fall over laughing when I mention the size of my bike.

Ah well, there goes another chunk of my retirement fund. Might have to
get a job at this rate.

  2. Pero - pero - pero - vale. Tienes razón.

Anyway, I've just had a very competitive quote of an amazing 679 euros.
I think I'll have me a piece of that action.

    ¡La carretera, aquí vengo!

  5. Better than 1000. Still not quite as good as the 250 quid I was paying
in the UK for 2 bikes.

  6. That'll be "Tía Carola", I suppose.

The only "British" insco I can find here, is Direct Line. I've got my
car insured with them, but they won't insure any bike until one has been
    a customer for 13 months.

  11. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Paul Carmichael
Eh? Direct Line will actually take on foreign risks?
