You are happy for them to mandate all sorts of other shite on other people
like so suck it up biker boy.

It's a fair idea on cars and we all got used to it so I suppose it will be
OK on bikes. It depends on type. The BMW K style was good on a fully loaded
tourer but you wouldn't want it on a sprotbike. The late Ducati system as
fitted to ST's was incredibly good <peers at Ant> which seemed to
incorporate lean and accelerometers and sufficient computing power.

As long as one can disconnect it if desired. Lets face it most sprotbike
    owners need it.

    My Volvo has traction/stability control.
    It's a poor substitute for decent tyres/suspension/design/handling.

My ex wife had an Ovlov S40 2.0 Auto. It was one the evil things I did to
her. Awful car and sloooow but bizarrely it had the best brakes and ABS
    system you can possibly imagine.

Anyone seen that Canadian comedian[1][2], who has a sketch about using
lights on the car during the day. Cracked me up it did.

[1] Who happens to live in Dorset.
[2] I saw him when he was the support gig for Frankie Boyle.

I expect he merely meant to be insulting.

Apparently it's good for everyone that HID's are banned[1] because you
    get blinded by them.
    Indeed.

[1]Yes, I know they are illegal, but so is speeding and small number plates.

Ahh, it would appear that Colin adopted you as a sock puppet for that
    argument.

He used to have long dreads, I saw him do a routine at the Edinburgh
festival a few years back just after he'd cut them off

An option I'd not take up. Making rider aids mandatory is bollocks and
not something I'd welcome over here.

Ah, it appears I'm thinking of Craig Campbell. And he lives in Devon, not
    Dorset.

I said my memory was rubbish.

And *now* you're telling him he smells. That's really harsh, after
    abusing him as well.
