  5. Ummm errmmm... how much do you weigh? (seriously)... I'm a junior bat
fastard... and you're errmm not exactly skinny either. Anything over 80kg
and I have to start reducing fuel load to stay within max weight in the
ultralight. Fuel weighs less than a kilo a litre, and the Jabiru carries 60
litres (or 80 depending upon model).

If you weigh say 120kg then we are left with only 10 litres of fuel, which
with a 30 minute reserve means about a 15 minute flight *grin* (dependant
upon model and how the plane is registered again).

The larger J200 jab has an extra 100kg of load capacity registered in
ultralight, and another 200 on top of that when registered GA.

Something with a bit more weight carrying capacity... like say the piper
    warrior might be more appropriate.

A Thruster with a 503, like the other poster has for sale makes a good 1 bat
fastard plane, and an ok 2 skinny bugger plane... a 582 is better is you
have 2 middle sized people, and 2 bat fastards doesn't work real well.

If you are serious about going for a fly and you will still be in Vic on
Tuesday after the GP let me know, and weather permitting I'll organise
    something.
