    Airbourne Early Warning

Top Cover, I assume to be high-altitude intercept capability and 'mud
moving' I'm assuming is ground attack.

I'm pretty sure that the way it works is that they hold the stocks of
the missiles and we cart a ready to use supply around in our subs but
we still retain the ability to fire at will. As long as they agree...

  3. Was being dismantled in ummm... some shithole at the southern end of the
Firth of Clyde by then. Was quite incongruous to see something that size
at the side of the road.

I recall stopping and whipping out a camera and some wanker of a
security bod trying to give me a difficult time for that. What an
absolute tosser - National Security My Fucking Arse - it had no secrets
any more and half the cunts working on it would have sold their grannies
to the Russkis for a fiver.

Talking of which - is there any sign of the MR4 Nims yet?

Only I did watch a fuselage heading off to Hurn in Feb '97, and was
wondering how they were getting on.

  6. More like protecting the contents of the tower of London first but
expanding to domestic and near foreign trade next I would suspect and
then citizenry as and where we set up colonies in order to reinforce the
first two. Now that we are safe from harm with those three we have
added extra layers of altruism and are protecting other poor bastards
round the world who can't afford to buy their own but can afford to rent
which is why we are off the coast of Iraq to keep the Al Quaeda navy at
bay and the channels open for essential bulk supplies going in like
bullets for the merkins and empty oil tankers and stuff while the Iraqis
throw off their feudal past, deal with the reformation as quick as they,
get to grips with the liberating effects of the industrial revolution
and learn how to be righteous god fearing capitalists.

Heh. One airframe in service trials, two others on manufacturers
trials, the other 9 in various states of preproduction, last time I
    looked.

Only about 10 years late, so far.

I hate it when you do this.
Well, given that I've looked at secondary schools recently (5 years ago)
all I can state is my experience shows me that state secondary schools
are horribly underfunded. The school I went to has lost its library,
it's chemistry and physics labs look almost the same as when I was there
    and ditto the sports facilities.

We can also look at the fact that anyone off to uni now can expect to
leave with 10k+ in debts due to the virtual abolition of grants.

Can't comment on New York since I've never been there but the rest are
fine places. Albeit Melbourne's a little sleepy but it's over 15 years
    since I was last there.

Maybe, I've got connections with education as well and all doesn't seem
that good with the LEA trying to close down small schools due to budget
challenges and issuing notice to all of the school support staff to
force them to accept new contracts; paying in some cases 90% (or less)
    than the old contract.

The reason? Well that support staff (dinner ladies, classroom
assistants, school secretaries) were overpaid since they got 12 weeks a
year holiday rather than 5 and consequently the council needed to reduce
their basic pay to make up for this.
    Maybe. I hope so.
    Yes.

Oh, and btw it looks like we got away with it.

Thank goodness tribal memories were traditionally passed down through the
old men. Had it been the women we would have JC's every word, verbatim.

    FWIW my wedding/honeymoon was outstanding.
